Contact Form
The Contact Form section lets you easily create a custom form on your store so customers can reach you.
Instead of being stuck with a fixed form, you now have the flexibility to add, remove, and reorder form fields using blocks.
Think of it as building your form piece by piece — add only the questions you want, and arrange them in the order that makes sense for your business.
Available Blocks
Input Block | Use this for fields like Name, Email, Phone number, or any custom detail. You can choose the input type (text, email, number, message). Make fields required if you don’t want customers to skip them |
Dropdown Block | Add a dropdown menu with options for customers to pick from Perfect for things like “Reason for contact” or “Select your department" |
1. Input block settings
The Input Type is where you tell the block what kind of information you need. We've got a few handy options ready to go:
- Name: Perfect for collecting a person's name. It just looks clean and professional.
- Email: This one's smart! It'll make sure the person enters a real email address (like
[email protected]
) to help prevent typos and get you the right contact info. - Message: Think of this as a blank canvas for your customers. It's great for longer notes, questions, or detailed feedback.
- Custom input: This is your secret weapon! If you need something specific—like an order number, a phone number, or a special request—this lets you build a custom field just for that.
Label
The Label is the text that sits right above the input box. It's a simple but crucial step! This is where you tell your customers exactly what to type. For example, if you want their name, you'd just write "Name" here. Easy, right?
Required
The Required toggle is your yes or no switch.
- If you flip it on (so it's highlighted!), your customers must fill this in before they can submit the form. This is a must-have for essential details like their name or email.
- If you leave it off, the field is optional. They can skip it if they want, which is perfect for extra information that's nice to have but not critical.
Use long text
The Use long text toggle changes the size of the box.
- Flip it on for a big, open text area. This is ideal if you're asking for a lot of detail, like in a feedback form or a message.
- Leave it off for a single-line box. This is perfect for short answers like a name, an email address, or a phone number.
