Section settings
Content
| Caption | Small label above the heading, used for eyebrow text like a category or a date. |
| Heading | The section title. Leave it empty to hide the heading row entirely and let the content start at the top. |
| Heading size | Picks one of the heading sizes defined in Theme settings → Typography, so headings stay consistent across sections instead of being sized one by one.
Choose Default (default), H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 or H6. |
| Description | Body copy shown under the heading. Supports bold, italic and links. |
| Text alignment | Aligns the heading and body text left, center or right.
Default: Left. |
Article grid
| Card padding | Space between a card's border and its content.
Choose Default (default) or None. |
| Enable image padding | Adds space around the image inside its frame.
On by default. Only appears when Card padding is Default. |
| Desktop articles per row | How many items sit side by side on desktop.
Choose 2 (default), 3 or 4. |
| Articles per page | How many posts load in the grid before the pagination control. Posts shown in the featured or highlights blocks, and hidden from the list, still count toward this number.
Adjustable from 4 to 24 (default 8). |
| Show tags filter | Adds a list of your blog's tags beside the grid, so readers can narrow the posts to one topic. It only appears once at least one post in the blog has a tag.
On by default. |
| Tags filter label | The heading above the tags list, such as "Topics" or "Categories". Leave empty to use the default.
Only appears when Show tags filter is on. |
| Pagination style | How shoppers move to the next set of items: numbered pages, a load-more button or infinite scroll.
Choose Load more button (default), Numbered pages or Infinite scroll. |

Appearance
| Color scheme | Sets the background, text, border and button colors for the section. Schemes are defined once in Theme settings → Colors and reused everywhere, so changing a scheme updates every section using it. |
| Card color scheme | Color scheme for cards inside the section, so they can sit apart from the section background. |
Spacing
Top and bottom spacing for desktop, with optional separate values for mobile. These are the same controls on every section. See Settings every section shares.

Tips
- Tag every post. The tags filter only appears once posts in the blog have tags, and it's the main way readers browse by topic.
- Give the featured article its own image in the block if the post's featured image is too narrow for a wide banner.
- Use the same template for every blog. Each blog you create (News, Recipes…) uses this template unless you make an alternate one from the page dropdown in the theme editor.
Troubleshooting
The tags filter isn't showing
It needs Show tags filter on and at least one tagged post in the blog. Add tags to your posts under Online Store → Blog posts.
A page of the grid has fewer posts than Articles per page
Posts picked in the Featured article or Recent highlights blocks are left out of the grid when their Show … in list setting is off, but still count toward that page. Turn the setting on, or accept the slightly shorter page.
My featured article appears twice
Turn off Show featured article in list on the block; the post is then removed from the grid below.
